MY BACKGROUND

How I Got Here

Growing up in Sarasota, Florida I have always had a connection with the environment and water. My elementary school was located on the water and we attended field trips to the beach and Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium which made me have an appreciation for marine life and ecosystems. I decided to attend Nova Southeastern University to study my passion for marine biology-- specifically fisheries which has become my interest after having the opportunity to experience fish species up close and personal. Now I am attending UCF to continue pursing my passion of research as well as educating others along the way.
